Today you've all gathered here
Both my family and my friends.
You've all come to say good-bye.
Because time for me had to end.
I know I wasn't with you long
But that's ok, cause you see.
I know I will see you again
When you come to live with me.
If I could tell you how I feel
I would say please don't cry.
I've never been so happy
As I am here now, on high.
I still run and play and laugh a lot.
There is so much yet to see.
I've met our Lord and Savior.
Who gave His life for you and me.
I know I'll grow and change somewhat.
But you will still know me.
I'll be waiting at the gates of the city
When you come to live with me.
